After nearly 27 years in uniform with the United States Air Force, holding leadership and management positions at multiple levels, I learned that leadership is multi-faceted, and if you're lucky you get to take one step forward instead of two steps back. But leadership should not be about luck, it should be about focus and intention towards the people you are leading. In that vein I started a journey of reading and analyzing a wide variety of experts in leadership, trying to find those golden nuggets that are simple and easy to learn and implement. Needless to say, there were lots of models, theories, hypotheses. studies, personal lessons, etc. which led me to the realization that leadership is personal: it's all about what works for you. While many great leaders have written about their experiences and developed models for others to use, I found that like George Box said, "all models are wrong, some are useful." So, I founded M2 Leadership Solutions LLC. The hope of M2 Leadership Solutions LLC is that at least one leader finds something they can use to become a better leader.
